The index of dry preparations was unpaginated.  The pages were scanned 2 at a time, a left and right hand page forming 1 scanned image. During scanning, a scan image number was written in pencil in the lower left corner of each right-hand page (i.e., one scan number per pair of facing pages).  The file names use these scan numbers.  Blank page pairs were numbered by not scanned - i.e, p. 46-50.
